A very different Georgian-style church with mediaeval tower and
magnificent interior, with a fine copy of Da Vinci’s The Last Supper
behind the altar. The organ is a three-manual Walker (1906). Beautiful
stained-glass windows, 17th century marble font and memorial
headstone of Richard Rollett, master sailmaker to Captain James Cook
on HMS The Resolution. Guided visits to the mediaeval Bell Tower.
