Torksey • St Peter (photo by Richard Croft, Creative Commons Link) |
Our church dates from the 12/13th centuries with later extensions. We have an interesting font with a Spode font basin from 1814. The altar is formed from the tombstone of the last Abbess of Torksey. There is a “sheelagh-na-gig” in an alcove in the south wall.
