Our church dates from the 12th/13th century with later extensions. We have an interesting font with a Spode font basin from 1814. The front of the altar is formed from the tomb stone of the last abbess of Torksey. It is believed the ‘sheelagh-na-gig’ in an alcove in the south wall could have been used to teach young girls the facts of life before marriage. Art exhibition and cards for sale.
