Kirkby cum Osgodby - St Andrew

There has been a church on the site since 1160.  Water de Amundeville gave the church to Elsham Priory.  The lower part of the tower is thought to date to the 13th Century along with the Chancel, though this has been substantially altered. Henry V111 encouraged churches to display the Royal Crest after the break with Rome.  Ours dates from George 11 1727-1760.  The organ was installed in 1899, replacing a harmonium.  It is believed this came from a private house.
