St. Edith’s is a charming and unique pre reformation church, probably
of Saxon origin.
It has a very rare rood screen and loft not to be missed.
Whilst steeped in history and situated in a unique setting, it attracts
visitors from all over the world throughout the year.
There is the site of
the old Saxon Village only a short walk away and a medieval game can
be played inside the church.
Do come and join us and see for yourself
this incredible tranquil setting and church. Access is off the Stow to
Ingham road and it will be signposted.
