Grade II* listed St Peter’s sits in the heart of the village. It has three fine bells and a delightful stained glass East window. There is a medieval tympanum in the tower wall and an ancient sarcophagus in the vestry. Joyce of Whitchurch made the clock in 1906 and the hours chime on one bell. The organ is a 150 year old Nicholson. The lychgate is the War Memorial. This year’s displays are themed on
“Statues, gargoyles and gnomes".
