Holton cum Beckering • All Saints

The church building is 13th-15th century with Victorian restoration which includes fifteen stained glass windows, a mosaic and marble reredos, a carved rood screen and a painted chancel ceiling. The village is included in the Domesday Book, and in 1259 John de Chishull, who had been Vicar years earlier, became Bishop of London.
