The church was built in 1897 as a memorial to John Robinson, the “Pastor of the Pilgrims”.

At 3pm on Sunday, Adrian Gray, historical adviser and director of Pilgrims and Prophets will give a talk, “Why did they come from here? Gainsborough’s radical Christians”.

The pipe organ has an historic organ certificate and is an instrument of national heritage importance. There will be a concert including organ music at 7pm on Saturday evening and an art exhibition throughout the weekend.

JUST CONFIRMED FOR THIS CHURCH: Bassetlaw Christian Heritage will be displaying an exhibition during the weekend relating to the Mayflower Pilgrims.

The church has its own website which can be visited here: Gainsborough United Reformed Church.
