A beautiful Norman church, partly medieval including tower with belfry windows. Tower has three bells dating from 1687, (one still in use.) Fine 12th century arcade separates nave from north aisle, its pointed arches rest on large based pillars, some with ancient graffiti. Bold leaf carvings decorate the capitals. Font is possibly of Saxon origin. Ancient texts depicting the 10 Commandments hang inside door. Chancel and stained glass window behind altar are later additions. Exhibition “Celebration of Village Life".
