Brookenby church was created out of the former unmarried sergeants’ accommodation and consists of worship area, two meeting rooms, kitchen and library. The weekend will feature various WWI and WWII and Cold War displays. Hot and cold refreshments available throughout the weekend. Licensed bar.

The Heroes of the Airfield travelling exhibition will be supplemented by our own displays on RAF Binbrook 1942-89, and the RAF generally as well as the history of commercial air travel over the past 100 years. The displays will be sited in the adjoining Community Centre building (Lancaster Room) over the period 11th-15th May 10.00 am to 3.00 pm. The Church itself will host a display reflecting the development of Christian worship in RAF Binbrook/Brookenby. Alas, there will be no 'heritage trail' as suggested in the original website and brochure submission: the Lancaster cockpit has been relocated.
